The Lost Dogs
This book tells the heartbreaking tales of Michael Vick's fighting pit bulls. What horrors these dogs were put through. I think Vick is a great football player but questioned his humanity as I read this book. These dogs were treated horribly and were not allowed to be dogs. Throughout it all, these dogs somehow kept a soul and craved love and attention. I find that utterly amazing. As these dogs were saved by rescue organizations, they slowly began to move past the horrors that they had faced and most ended up finding some sort of homes that worked best for them. This book was moving.
