The Wife Between Us
Book #5 Read in 2018
The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks
This is a must read for fans of Behind Closed Doors. Nellie and her husband Richard have divorced, and Richard is now engaged to Emma. But is Richard really the catch he seems to be? There are many twists and turns throughout this book, most of which I did not see coming. It is a good, suspenseful read which I highly recommend to adult readers.

Raven Girl
Book #4 Read in 2018
Raven Girl by Audrey Niffenegger
This was a quick, odd but good read. A postman and a raven fall in love and have a child. She looks human but speaks crow. She finds a scientist who can give her wings and she wants that so she can fly. This book has nice illustrations. I could see some gothic readers liking it.

Turtles All the Way Down
Book #3 Read in 2018
Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
This book has been getting mixed reviews online but I really liked it and read it in one day. Aza is a teenager who is dealing with OCD, mental health issues and the death of her father. As if that is not bad enough, she is also dealing with high school drama such as friendships and dating. The boy she is seeing, Davis, has his own issues as his rich father is wanted for a white collar crime and has taken off, leaving Davis in charge of his younger brother. This read was a good mix of realistic fiction, mystery, romance and humor. I recommend it.

The Jane Austen Project
Book #1 Read in 2018
The Jane Austen Project by Kathleen Flynn
Rachel and Liam travel back in time to see if they can get their hands on Jane Austen's The Watsons. In theory, they should not do anything to alter history or their future world might be changed. Easier said than done. This book is a mix of science fiction, historical fiction and romance. I believe this book sets up a series. It was a good read.
